Description of the Bella Center

Here is an interesting link about what its like in the Bella Center from BBC. It is a bit pessimistically British (sorry Maddy) at times, but illustrates the overwhelming size of this conference. The food is great and getting through security is a breeze.

  1. I am not sure that (in this situation) the pessimism derives from being British. OK so we may have pessimistic tendencies but this guy sounds like a bit of an idiot full stop.

First of all, the security at the entrance are the cheeriest people in the entire building. They are constantly smiling, polite and courteous. Lunch is great, not least of all because it tends to be free and accompanied by wine. Additionally, dismissing those who are neither negotiators nor press as being 'teenagers or businesspeople' is completely ignorant. Writing about having to ask other journalists for news and moaning about missing things smacks of more than a slight professional incompetency to me.

I am mainly outraged by this article for the fact he didn't mention the vegans dressed up in chicken costumes that are camped out outside the entrance gates distributing literature entitled 'Birds In My Life', a publication that has no relevance to climate change whatsoever.

Respect to them though - for such small asian women, they're actually much hardier than any of the other activists I have seen outside the Bella Centre.

Check out this report which says similar things but most importantly DOES mention www.suprememasterTV.com:
